Internships

We accept interns on a rolling basis throughout the year. All applicants must submit a cover letter explaining why they are interested in an internship with the Boukman Institute, a resume, and a writing sample. The cover letter should also include contact information: a current address, telephone number and email address.

We seek interns who have an interest in international minority rights. Our interns should demonstrate good communications skills, writing ability, library and internet research capabilities and be able to work independently and as part of a team. Interns will help edit the Institute’s monthly newsletter and help maintain our website by surveying other nonprofit websites for new ideas for format and content. All application material must be submitted at the same time and in the same format, either online or hardcopy.

We are committed to creating a fulfilling and rewarding internship experience and view this as a partnership between our Institute and the academic community, as we are an equal opportunity employer.

Note: All internships are non-paid positions.
